Retired from the City of Duquesne Police Department, I am now a freelance writer and published author. Not known for my ability to keep silent about things I see that are wrong, here I am practicing my First Amendment right. For those not acquainted with the law (and you know who you are), that means my right to Free Speech.
The Purpose of this Blog
For every thousand police officers who work hard and put their lives on-the-line everyday to protect us, our families and their communities, there is one who has either lost their way morally, professionally, ethically or even mentally.
It is the intent of this blog to share the stories of these very lost souls. Some tales are wildly funny while others are sadly absurd. Allare factual with most local to the Pittsburgh area.
Take notice that I have not named names or specific departments as it is not my intent to infer, accuse or imply any one person's involvement in criminal activity. So, to some readers this blog will be just entertainment. But to the "informed," you know the names, the departments and maybe even some details that I am unaware of.
Dedication:
A police chief once told me "Computers are just a passing fad." This blog is dedicated to he and all other like thinkers in law enforcement.
